At MSS, you will be welcomed into an environment that encourages and empowers you to expand your world. Our goal is to provide respectful, professional, and compassionate support for the journey, as together we begin to imagine all of life’s possibilities. Once we understand your unique strengths, interests, and goals, we do everything we can to support you in living the life you choose.
We provide services that develop and maintain life skills for people with developmental disabilities or related conditions so individuals can fully participate in community life.
These individualized, person-centered services occur both in and outside of our buildings. A main goal of this service is to support people in engaging and becoming involved in their communities, identifying resources and building natural, supportive relationships.
While we serve individuals with a wide range of abilities, many people who receive our services have significant medical needs. Many of our staff members receive specialized training to meet those needs. We provide opportunities for you to explore a range of unique experiences, including:

Artists have the opportunity to work in many mediums including painting, ceramics, digital photography, printmaking, fiber arts, and much more. Their work is showcased in art events, exhibits, and our gallery in Minneapolis- Fresh Eye Gallery.
